For patients with one of the BIOTRONIK Cardiac Rhythm Management devices (a pacemaker, ICD or CRT device) that need to be checked at a monitoring clinic while traveling. Before you travel, discuss with your doctor to what extent you are medically fit to travel and in which situations you may need to contact a hospital abroad. Don't forget to take your medication and the ID card of the ICD/pacemaker with you on your trip. If you have a CardioMessenger for BIOTRONIK Home Monitoring^®, ask your doctor if you should also take it with you on your trip.
